Pick n Save Fresh Perks Rewards Program

By now, most of you probably have received your new Pick n Save Fresh Perks card in the mail. If you have not, don't worry, you can still register in store at customer service or the Fresh Perks Kiosk. This card will be replacing your current Pick n Save card.

I'll start off with the basics of the new Fresh Perks program, and then get into more details about the rules further down in the post.

Earn Cash Back

Earn 1% cash back for each $50 spent in qualifying purchases totaling $400 or more:

  • $400 - $449.99 = $4 Reward
  • $450 - $499.99 = $4.50 Reward

The current period to earn rewards is August 8 – October 9th, 2013.  Redeem rewards October 17 – October 30, 2013. This should change on a regular basis. From what I understand, you will have 2 weeks to redeem your rewards after the earning period. Your rewards can be redeemed on any transaction equal to or greater than the amount of rewards earned.

Huggies Diaper Club

Buy any 6 items with the Huggies Jumbo Pack Diaper Club tag and you will get your 7th one free on your next purchase.  Purchases must be made between July 18 and September 25, 2013.  Free item must be redeemed by October 9, 2013.

Fresh Express Salad Club

Buy any 10 items with the Fresh Express Salad Club tag and you will get $3 off on your next purchase.  Purchases must be made between July 18 and September 25, 2013.  $3 reward must be redeemed by October 9, 2013.

Pet Club

Buy $50 worth of items with the Pet Club tag and you will get $5 off on your next purchase.  Purchases must be made between July 18 and September 25, 2013.  $5 reward must be redeemed by October 9, 2013.

Card Loadable Coupons - Add manufacturer’s coupons right to your card.

  • Go here and Click on Download Digital Coupons Direct to Fresh Perks Card (lower right corner of page).
  • Select the store you shop at; if prompted
  • Click on "Load to Card" for the coupons that you wish to add to your card.
  • You must have a username/password in order to load coupons onto your Fresh Perks card. If you do not have an account set up, you will be asked to create one in order to proceed with loading.
  • *NOTE; The coupons loaded to your Fresh Perks card will NOT qualify for Double Daze. If you want to double a manufacturer coupon, you would be better off printing the coupon from here (if available).

Double Double Daze

Special Double Double Daze coupon events for Fresh Perks cardholders. On selected dates during the year, Fresh Perks cardholders can double up to 10 manufacturer’s coupon.

Rules Regarding Fresh Perks Card (& my opinion)

First off, the fact that card loadable coupons will NOT be doubled on Double Daze has me concerned that customers will not maximize their savings because of this "convenience". If you wish to double coupons, I would suggest making sure the coupon is not available to print before you load the coupon to your card.

Can I use a paper manufacturer coupon with a Card Loadable coupon at the same time?
No, if you present both a paper manufacturer’s coupons and a digital offer, only the paper coupon will be deducted from the order.

Do Card Loadable coupons double for the Double Daze promotion?
No, only paper manufacturer coupons apply to Double Daze and Double Double Daze.

Updated: Card loadable coupons loaded to Fresh Perks card will NOT stack with manufacturer paper coupons. However, in-ad store coupons WILL still stack with paper manufacturer coupons.

This seems to be a whole lot of rigamarole compared to what it was. No points until $400? Redemption periods or the points are lost? Who keeps track? What if you're on vacation?

Further, you get no points or redemption whatsoever for an entire week in October, so why bother shopping there that week.

I greatly agree that this is another stupid gimmick put together by idiots who obviously do not do the grocery shopping for their households or who have way too much time on their hands. Thanks Rose Knows for your explanation of the Fresh Perks program. You gave more information than the Fresh Perks website. I am weary of retail businesses that force me to play their game in order to get their best price whether it is Fresh Perks tickets or plastic cards that prove I am a shopping member of their store. If I walk through their doors to shop, I should be honored by their best price. Period.

I think ta his is stupid , I am a senior and do not shop for a family as I did and don't spend that much in foods . It is confusing , and where can I save. To get only $2 as the smalist reward and I have yet to get any other rewards . I have switched to Piggly Wiggly where I can see my saving up front and with a better customer service
